Board Work Session

Please join us for the first of the 2019-2020 Board Work Sessions! To start off, we'll be working to design the format of these events going forward, including creating a schedule of topics, developing member participation, and setting ground rules. This month, we will also begin to explore the NAO reports, and create a work plan for the Board to adopt (or not) some of the recommendations. In order to participate more actively, please read the NAO reports on the .net site (First Report to the Board and Second Report to the Board). At this time, we do not plan on having paper copies available at the meeting (you know, trees, and all).

We'll be meeting at the Northwest Youth Corps, in the same room as our monthly meetings. We'd love for you to join us. This is the membership involvement opportunity you've all been waiting for! If you'd prefer remote participation we're excited to work out the kinks with you on the Go-To meeting platform (see log-in info below).

See you there! And then on the 3rd Mondays of the months from now until May. Questions can be directed to Lily at lilyclerwater@gmail.com.

Fair Family Survey!
The Bylaws and Election committees, with help from the Survey Team, have prepared a survey to learn:

  • How informed and engaged are the Fair family in the process to elect the OCF Board of Directors?
  • How well does the Fair family know and understand the OCF bylaws and the elections process?
  • Does the Fair family see value in changing the current elections process?

Please use the following link for the OCF Elections/Bylaws Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LRPN7VD. We would greatly appreciate it if you would complete this survey (unless the survey crew found you during Fair).

From OCF's Newly Hired Executive Director, Wally Bomgaars
Here is a letter from Wally.
