SUMMARY:Elders Fall Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The Elders Fall Retreat will be held at Alice’s.  \n\n\n\nAlice’s will open starting 5 p.m. Friday 9/15. Overnighters are welcome to spend Friday and Saturday night. We have the building until Sunday\, 9/17 noon. \n\n\n\nThe retreat meeting will be held in-person at Alice’s on Saturday 9/16. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Please arrive early to socialize and settle in. \n\n\n\nThe primary agenda will be a debrief of our volunteer efforts for the 2023 Fair. This will cover The Elders’ Meet and Greet\, The Still Living Room Exhibit\, Geezer Pleezer services\, and Elder Camps. We will touch on upcoming Elder events. \n\n\n\nLunch is at 1 p.m. Please bring a potluck dish and beverages to share. \n\n\n\nAfter lunch there will be Fair walkabouts to learn about the Emerald Ash Borer. Path Planning is working on a path history project\, so Elders’ recollections of booths and stages along the original 8 could be another potential walk-about. \n\n\n\nQuestions about the retreat can be sent to elderscommittee@oregoncountryfair.org.
