DESCRIPTION:Hi Fair Family! \nFairCARE\, a work group created by the OCF Executive Director in early 2020\, has been hard at work on our new Community Relations and Restoration Process (formerly known as the Grievance Procedures). You can review the Draft Process now and help us gather some information from you to ensure that this is the best process we can create at this time.  If you’re interested in sharing your questions/concerns with FairCARE\, we have a couple of ways for you to participate: \n\nDuring a Virtual Town Hall Meeting – On January 31\, (at 1 PM) the FairCARE Community Relations and Restoration Process team will host a remote session via zoom with any Fair Family member that wishes to participate. Registration in advance is preferred\, but not required.\n\nYou can sign up for the remote session through this link: https://forms.gle/DzHofSG2ixptFX6p6 . During the meeting\, we’ll present a brief overview of the new process and the changes we’re intending to make in Phase 1 of our multi-year improvement process. Regularly scheduled operational meetings were part of Mary Miller’s (NAO consultant) recommendations to ensure that back and forth communication continues\, as operational issues move out of the BoD meeting venue. DESCRIPTION:Management has been working with Coach Carman of Elmira High School and is pleased that the OCF will be hosting a series of cross-country races on March 13\, as the Fair has done in the past. Elmira will have three races\, each lasting 2 to 2.5 hours. \nDue to Lane County’s current risk assessment\, only 50 people may be on the property at one time. No spectators will be allowed to attend the races. The site will be closed to all others\, including the membership\, on that that day (Saturday\, March 13\, all day site closure).

We want to create targeted opportunities for connection between the artisans\, food booth workers\, entertainers\, volunteers\, and operational staff. Regularly scheduled operational meetings were part of Mary Miller’s (NAO consultant) recommendations to ensure that back and forth communication continues\, as operational issues move out of the BoD meeting venue. \nWe are hoping that these meetings will provide opportunities for questions\, observations\, and collaboration. We also hope that you will help us shape these meetings by suggesting agenda topics. Submit topic suggestions here. \nThis is our second Operations Open House.
