Greetings Fair Family!

The Path Planning Committee is seeking some fresh faces to join our amazing group. We would like to specifically encourage membership from under-represented groups/crews. We would love to see representation from Archeology, 4A, Entertainment, Ambiance, Water, Sanitation, Sauna, to name a few.

The Path Planning Committee values diversity and strongly encourages women, members of the BIPOC community, LGBTQ+ individuals, disabled individuals/individuals with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign born residents, veterans and younger adults to consider joining us.

Working on the Path Planning Committee involves a commitment to attend our monthly meetings and be willing to do work outside of the meeting to support the Path Planning mission. The Path Planning Committee advises the Board of Directors and operations personnel on conditions of the paths and other public spaces at the Oregon Country Fair, emphasizes the importance of the public Fair-goers’ experiences, identifies needs and goals of Fair family and the public, and recommends changes and additions to enhance and improve public spaces and infrastructure. The committee is charged with designating replacement space to compensate for booth areas lost to river erosion or other causes. Please check out the Path Planning Committee page at oregoncountryfair.net for our agendas and minutes to get a sense of what we do.

There are many sub-committees at work within Path Planning that meet as often as once a month or as infrequently as every few months. Workload can ramp up or dry up depending on the issues at hand. An engaged, informed and thoughtful human is welcome at the table.

If joining our team is something that is of interest to you and you’re willing to step up and help out, please email us a letter of interest and tell us about yourself. What would you bring to the table? What is your OCF background? How do you see yourself contributing to the Path Planning mission?

To be considered, please submit your letters of interest by Nov 30th, 2021 to
pathplanning@oregoncountryfair.org

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
