An OCF Board Working Assembly on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will be held via zoom on Monday, July 20^th from 6 to 9pm.  The Working Assembly discussion will focus on four draft Board motions related to the June 26^th recommendations of the Diversity Committee. THIS document lists the four draft Board motions adopting and implementing portions of the Diversity Committee’s June 26^th recommendations to the Board of Directors.  The committee made some minor revisions to two of the recommendations as it developed language for the draft motions.  While the full recommendations are included HERE, please note that the draft motions address only part of the recommendations.  In particular, the draft motions for August do not address the creation of an equity and inclusion manager staff position nor do they address any requirements for completing equity and inclusion skills and knowledge training.  At the July 20^th Board Working Assembly on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Diversity Committee hopes for robust discussion of the draft motions and all of its June 26^th recommendations.  During the working assembly there will be an opportunity for four breakout sessions, each one focusing on one of the draft motions and associated recommendations.  Please be thinking about in which of the four breakout sessions you would like to take part.  The working assembly will begin at 6:00 pm and be conducted via zoom.  Please use the link below to join the working assembly.
