FairCARE Stakeholdering Session on Grievance Process

When

Jun 17, 2021 , 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

FairCARE invites you to the final stakeholdering session on the newly revised Grievance Process. Conflict workers at the Fair will be able to provide feedback and ask clarifying questions on Thursday, June 17th at 7 pm. This stakeholdering session is specifically for the Diversity Committee and Fair arbitrators and mediators, but in the name of transparency, the meeting is open to all Fair Family.

The DRAFT Grievance Process document can be viewed here:

https://oregoncountryfair.net/wp-content/uploads/bsk-pdf-manager/2021/06/DRAFT-Grievance-Process-2021.pdf

Please consider submitting feedback and questions in writing so that the work group is able to process and address them most fully before the stakeholdering session – we want to give every comment time and attention, and this seems to be the best way we can do that. But there will also be a brief time for questions and comments in the moment. You can submit your questions to faircare@oregoncountryfair.org or to lilyclearwater@gmail.com.

The motion placed on new business by Board Vice President, Lily Harmon Gross, reads:

“The Board moves to codify the new Grievance Process as policy, and to adopt this new method as written by the FairCARE work group. This policy will be reviewed and revised at least biannually by the ED and the Grievance Administrator, in concert with the FairCARE work group, with the next revision to occur no later than September 2023.”
