DRAFT DECEMBER AGENDA 

Land Acknowledgment  “The Long Tom Watershed lies within the traditional homelands of the Tribes and Bands of the Kalapuyan peoples. Following treaties in the 1850s, the Kalapuya people were dispossessed of and forcibly removed from their Indigenous homeland by the United States government. Today, many descendants are citizens of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. We acknowledge that we are on occupied lands, and express our respect for Kalapuya and all Tribal Nations of Oregon, and the important contributions they continue to make to their communities, including to the stewardship of this watershed.”

    Food Committee holds monthly work sessions as well as quarterly Town Hall meetings. Please email committee@ocffood.org to request a link to attend a work session if you have an issue to discuss with the committee. Otherwise, please attend the Town Hall meetings where up to date information is shared and questions are answered.

    Today is the deadline for food and craft booths to have your booth spaces ready for the winter. Please remove all your personal belongings, pick up your floor, take your roof down and secure your loft access. Please reach out to the site staff 72 hours in advance for help with access by vehicle to your booth. They can help you as long as they are notified of your work party.
