We would like to invite you to our first Operations Open House. It will be this weekend, Sunday February 21st from 4:00-5:30pm. The GoToMeeting link is below.
As the BoD continues the transition towards more of a governance model, focusing on strategic and policy matters, it is important that we provide opportunities for member engagement on operational matters. We want to create targeted opportunities for connection between the artisans, food booth workers, entertainers, volunteers, and operational staff. Regularly scheduled operational meetings were part of Mary Miller’s (NAO consultant) recommendations to ensure that back and forth communication continues, as operational issues move out of the BoD meeting venue. We are hoping that these meetings will provide opportunities for questions, observations, and collaboration. We also hope that you will help us shape these meetings by suggesting agenda topics (please click HERE to make suggestions). Currently we have two Operations Open Houses scheduled:Sunday February 21st and Sunday March 21st – both at 4:00pm. If these pilot sessions are successful, we will continue having these meetings on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 4:00pm. We look forward to your suggestions and spending time talking with you soon.
