🌳 Oregon Country Fair Tree & Forest Site Walk 🌳
Saturday, October 17 | Main Camp
Join us for our monthly site walk at Oregon Country Fair with Arborist Todd Ebens and Eugene Friends of Trees’ Erik Burke!
This month we’ll have two opportunities to learn, ask questions, and take a closer look at the tree canopy which makes our site so special.
🕛 12:00 PM — Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Management with Todd Ebens
Meet at Main Camp to talk with Todd about methods for managing Emerald Ash Borer and protecting the health and future of our ash trees. We’ll discuss practical approaches to monitoring, treatment, tree health, and long-term management.
🌲 2:00 PM — Site Tree Tour with Erik Burke of Friends of Trees.
Erik will lead a focused tour of specific trees on the OCF site. Bring your questions and observations! This is a chance to look closely at individual trees, discuss their condition and needs, and learn more about thoughtful tree care in a living forest landscape.
Whether you’re a longtime OCF attendee, Fair volunteer, local landowner, arborist-in-training, or simply someone who loves trees, come walk, learn, and share your observations with us.
