Elders Committee

The Elders Committee meets monthly to vet Elder applications, plan projects, get updates on existing projects, and schedule Elder events. The committee places special emphasis holding thoughtful discussions on current Fair and Elder issues.

The deadline to Submit Elder Applications for the 2025 Fair is February 1, 2025. Applications received after that date will be considered for the 2026 Fair. Currently, a member with at least 20 years of verifiable volunteer service to the Fair and at least 56 years of age before the first day of the 2025 Fair is eligible to apply. Keep in mind that the minimum age to apply will not go up next year, so anyone who will be 56 by the beginning of the 2025 Fair will subsequently be eligible to apply for the 2026 Fair.
